Christmas

Christmas at the Long's
Well we start with our Christmas Tree Beignets. So yummy!!

Wyatt was our favorite Christmas present this year.

of course one of Wyatt's favorite presents was Sophie the giraffe. He loves Sophie.

OK, this is his sit/play/walk behind toy. he couldn't take his eyes off of it.

his new sock monkey from Aunt Jobeth & Uncle Clay. We love it.

this is our 'new to Wyatt' Jeep walker. He was chillin.
his feet barely touch the floor. there is a pillow under him.
and you see what is in his hand, sweet Sophie

Wyatt decided to help mom put up groceries. He wasn't quite sure what to do sitting on the counter but he loved being in the middle of the madness.

It was a long holiday weekend. Wyatt was hanging out with daddy.

We have been so blessed this last year.
I could not have asked for anything better.
the Lord is my strength and I am faithful.
We pray that this coming year is as much a blessing as the last.

one year ago today

One year ago today we announced that we were going to become a family of 3.
We were so excited to make that announcement.

This last year has been an amazing journey into parenthood. I can't believe I have such a wonderful little family. We are now complete.

The Lord is so good and we are blessed.

This Christmas is truly a great one. We have gone thru the holidays blind. buying gifts, eating too much and loving those around us. But now that we are starting our on new traditions with our family, it is truly amazing.
We can't wait to celebrate Jesus' birthday with Wyatt and teach him the true meaning of Christmas.

EXCITING!

I can't wait.
Our little family is complete.
Family of 3.
I know that Wyatt could care less this year but we will get to tell him all about it in the years to come.
We have decided that we are going to honor the 3 Santa present tradition. Kids get too much for Christmas and Baby Jesus got 3 gifts on Christmas. Not saying that is all he will get but that is all that Santa will bring in his big red bag.

I can't wait to celebrate Jesus' Birthday with Wyatt and teach him the true meaning of Christmas.

20 weeks

Wyatt didn't like that mommy was outside decorating the front porch. so I bundled him up and put on his Santa hat and sat him just inside the front door. that way he could see and it wouldn't be too cold. He loved it. lots of smiles and laughing. We had a great time.

this is Wyatt's plate for Santa. I took him to 'harry the potter' and he hated it. He hates for anyone to mess with his feet and he wasn't too happy that the girl was painting them. but once it was over it was great. I wanted to paint something we will be able to use for many years to come.

We are so excited to celebrate this year with our sweet little boy. He is getting so big and developing his own little personality. I can't believe he is already 5 months old.
We are so blessed and count those blessing every day.

some 1st for Wyatt

well it's been crazy at the Long house.

1st taste of cereal and 1st time to use a spoon
(not a big fan of cereal)

1st Thanksgiving
1st Egg Bowl (even though we didn't get to go to the game we were there in spirit)
Our new onesie from Melanie @ justbecausedesigns brought the Dawgs some good luck

1st shopping trip with Momma & Nana to Handworks at the Trademart
he got a new hat from 'HotHeads' and isn't it so cute. a little bit but will be able to wear it for a long time.

Life has been awesome, amazing and wonderful.

Wyatt is getting so big. We spent Thanksgiving Day at the Long's, Friday night at Jobeth's, Saturday at Cousin Melanie's in Brandon & at Nana & Papaw's in Pelahatchie. Sunday we went to visit Santa at Bass Pro Shop. I'm so glad that I'm back at work and Wyatt is back at school. Maybe we can have a semi-normal schedule before Christmas gets here.
